I really liked the artystyle, it really captures the vibe of a otherworldly threat challenging our existence The tiny humanbuildings and vehicles when compared to our ship, it makes us feel majestic while at the same time much more advanced than making, and i also feel like it reflects how a alien invader would likely feel "above us".
Yet this godlike feeling we bring is constrasted with a iminent feeling of danger, as the screen shakes and the fire spreads, we almost feel what the humans are feeling, showcasing how we're at threat to everything that lives bellow us, how where in fact the bad guy, we're doing something completely unjustifiable to a target that can barely defend themselves.
Maybe i'm overthinking it, but that's the best way i managed to put it into worlds, i think just saying i like it wouldn't be enough, i just tought it was unique so i decided to say this
Awesome and very original concept and very fluently executed! Definitely begs for more.
Only gripe I have is that the tractor beam and laser work quite slow, however, that also makes it a bit more challenging so not sure if you should change that. Do feel it might need some more balancing.
But that's really the only thing, really cool game!
